Thursdays, July 31 through August 28 -Summer Music at the Beach
Bring your beach chairs and your dancing feet to the Kings Beach State Recreation Area for free concerts on the Beach. Five weeks of Thursday evening music beginning July 31st at 7:00pm.
July 31 - Momentum - 'Their sound puts a modern twist on vintage rock with influences ranging from blues roots and traditional rock to serious funk and jazz sounds. Their music is defined by widespread influences that carry the groups jamming from subtle and succinct melodies to hard hitting body moving rythums.' www.momentumtheband.com
August 7 - Sol Jibe - 'Sol Jibe blends rock, roots, flamenco, Latin music, jazz and Afro-Cuban percussion into an intoxicating, effervescent cocktail.' www.soljibe.com

Visit the Kings Beach Farmers Market this year in it's new home. The market can be found in the parking lot of the KBSRA, right along the beach. Thanks to the NTPUD for working with the Foothills Market group and the NTBA to make this new location available. Market dates for 2008 are June 10 - August 26.
