North Lake Tahoe Offers Best Spring Skiing Conditions

STORY SUMMARY: (NORTH LAKE TAHOE, California/Nevada) Spring has sprung in North Lake Tahoe, with plenty of new snow, sunshine, blue skies and wacky ski events.

The 3rd stop at the Snowbomb.com Sick and Twisted Freestyle tour was at Homewood Ski Resort for a Big Air competition. Skiers and Snowboarders competed for cash in the open class and sponsor product in the am division.

A 37-year-old San Francisco skier died Sunday at Homewood Mountain Resort after landing upside down in a tree well on the Hobbit Land ski run, according to Placer County Sheriff reports.
